Don't Miss
Goal-setting…the negative way!

Goal-setting…the negative way!

My good pal Jimmy Chapman has written a rather interesting piece to help those in his network marketing business. He’s said I can share it. I hope you enjoy!

“If you were following tradition you would probably start thinking about your New Years resolution right now.

Would you write it down and stick to it?

It’s funny whenever I attend trainings and the question is asked who goal-sets, only a handful of people put their hands up. Yet if we asked who has ever made a New Years resolution probably everyone would put their hands up.

So we all goal-set but do we do it properly?

You have to write goals down and put a realistic date next to it. Never change that date.

Goals in concrete – dates in sand. My initial target date for my promotion was missed by 18 months. I never lost focus on the goal. It was achieved.

Would this be your resolution this year?

Don’t go to a January Kick Off seminar.
Do a little when there’s nothing else to do.
Don’t earn much extra money.
Definitely don’t want to spend more time having fun and doing hobbies.
Don’t start building my financial future.
Don’t start sorting my non-existent pension out.
Don’t do any exercise so I die younger.
Don’t help people.
Talk negative every day, more if I can fit it in.
Keep my business a secret.
Don’t go to the trainings or opportunity presentations. I’ve been once anyway – all that positivity did my head in!
Make sure I don’t qualify for ANY holidays or promotions.
Don’t do what I joined to do.
Achieve total and complete failure.
Don’t spend time with people I like.
Spend more time with lazy, negative people.
Don’t do any money presentations.
Don’t show people my website.
If people moan about their their job, having no money and being unhappy, join in.

Make sure 2014 is the unhappiest year of my life so far, then hope the years that follow get progressively worse.

If you don’t want this stuff to happen.
Don’t think it.
Don’t act it.
Don’t do it.

It’s not what happens in your life it’s how you deal with that matters.

How you start in January is pretty much how you will carry on.
You will have the right attitude by attending a January Kick Off seminar.
Write your goals down and promise yourself you won’t give up.

Millions of people would sleep better if they just had a bit of financial security.
An extra £200 / £500 a month would give them that.
How many people are you going to offer to help?

Have a wicked weekend!”
