The skills required to live a network marketing lifestyle

I sat in a coffee shop this morning for an hour or so doing some stuff on the laptop in preparation for my slot at the Network Marketing Mastermind Event in Orlando in November. Thousands of people from hundreds of countries and companies come together for a 3 days of learning and development from some of the top network marketers in the world, in a safe, prospecting-free zone.

People were running in and out, almost spilling their coffee as they go trying to rip a bite of their croissant out their hand and open the door at the same time.

Some of them will be the type of people who have already dismissed network marketing as a scam – but at the same time doubtless unable to afford their council tax or a holiday despite working every hour God sends.

Some of them will be people for whom it wasn’t the right time, but you need to go back to them. You need to keep them in your pipeline and offer a number of exposures over time…these are actually your warmest prospects as, although they may not have joined you, the concept of alternative ways of making money, extra income, having a plan B, taking control of their life and having lots more free time will be germinating in their psyche, and is no longer ‘new’ to them.

Others will be not even know about your business opportunity. But they need to… you need to find the skills required to live a network marketing lifestyle

You see them everyday. They’re in your family, they’re in office, they’re in your street.

If they’re not listening to you, you’re not saying it right, not asking the right questions, not creating the right energy and rapport. That’s okay, it can change – after all we were all rubbish at walking and driving once.

It can change as long as you’re open to change, more training and self-improvement. Even just reading a few pages a day of a book or listening to a few minutes of a CD will help you understand the skills. Books you don’t read and audios you don’t listen to will definitely not help you!

Get the skills, practice them, keep the pipeline flowing by speaking to enough of these people and soon it’ll be you sitting relaxed in the coffee shop watching others run in during their ‘fag break’ too, or doing whatever it is that you want to be doing with your time.
